Chicken Tomato, Basil, Mozzarella Sandwich March 5, 2011

Filed under: Dinner — Maria @ 10:38 pm

Tonight for dinner we stopped at Cosi. I ordered the chicken T.B.M. which is made with grilled chicken breast, tomatoes, basil & fresh mozzarella with vinaigrette on a whole wheat flatbread. Although, they forgot to put basil on my sandwich. I was sooo sad but they were really busy and I was too hungry to wait for it. It was a delicious sandwich and I’m sure the basil would have made it perfect. Afterward, we went to see the comedian. He was soooo funny and his brother opened for him who was pretty good too. It was a good time! Anddddd it is almost 60 degrees as I type this which I am loving. Such a great way to end a night :)

Banana with Almond Butter, Strawberries

Filed under: Lunch — Maria @ 11:53 am

Today for lunch I am having a banana with creamy almond butter and cinnamon and a few strawberries. I think I have an unhealthy obsession with almond butter as I regularly take spoonfuls of it out of the jar haha. I had a pear for breakfast but I have a ton of fruit and am still in the mood for it so I’m having some more.  Tonight the boy and I are going to see a comedian — Brian Regan. I’m am excited to see him. We are probably going to stop in the city and get a quick dinner too. I’m sure it will be a spectacular Saturday :D

Carlton Salad

Filed under: Dinner — Maria @ 10:59 am

Last night for dinner I went to The Cheesecake Factory with my fella– always sooo good! I ordered something on the special menu called the Carlton Salad. It consisted of romaine lettuce, arugula, grilled chicken, feta cheese, avocado, organic dried cranberries, pears, fresh oranges, and pecans tossed with a light vinaigrette. It was sooo good and really filling. Before dinner we went to the movies to see The King’s Speech. We wanted to see it since it did so well at the Academy Awards. I thought it was really good, a little slow at times, but very well done. I had no idea about King George the VI’s stammer so it was really interesting to see how he overcame it in order to speak publicly. It was a great night!
