A Grad Student's Journey Toward Healthy Eating

Pork Cutlets, Yam Slices, Steamed Broccoli April 24, 2012

Filed under: Dinner — Maria @ 5:56 pm

Dinner tonight is the same as last night — pork cutlets, yam slices, and steamed broccoli. Thank god I had this leftover since I literally got home at 5:50pm after being in class since 8am. It was an absolutely brutal day. My day ended with 3.5 hours of radiology and I’m not sure if I retained any of it, which is unfortunate since I have a radiology quiz on Thursday. Oh well, that will have to wait until tomorrow as my oncology test tomorrow takes precedence. We did get to watch a cast put on and sawed off which was cool. We get to do that to each other in a few weeks during casting and splinting lab. All I can think about now though is oncology. There are so many genetic components and treatment regimes it makes my head spin and basically every treatment varies by the person. It is definitely going to be difficult, especially because it’s on 15 lectures and I have about half more to learn before 8am tomorrow ahhh!
