A Grad Student's Journey Toward Healthy Eating

Flounder, Baked Yam, Green Beans November 15, 2011

Tonight for dinner I made a piece of flounder, a baked yam, and green beans.  As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program, I received a coupon from Green Giant for one free package of vegetables. I decided to go with the cut green beans without sauce, since I know I have tried various brands with sauces in the past and didn’t love them. I must say these are pretty good. I don’t think they compare to fresh veggies but they definitely come in a close second and would be good to have on hand in a pinch — which is more often than not with my school schedule. You’ll be seeing these again for the next few nights I’m sure ha. Oh the joys of only cooking for myself most nights. Anyway, today was a long day at school and I don’t have any books yet to study from so I will be catching up on Pan Am and relaxing. Sounds good to me :)
