No-Bake Almond Butter Balls August 23, 2011

Filed under: Desserts — Maria @ 9:25 am

So a couple days ago I say this recipe for No-Bake Vegan Peanut Butter Balls on The Kitchenarian‘s blog and I couldn’t get them off my mind. I know I have no sweets whatsoever in my apartment so I thought I would give my version a go. Obviously, I have to use almond butter since I am allergic to peanut butter. I also swapped out almond flour for whole wheat flour and cacao chips for semi-sweet chocolate chips. Needless to say this is no where near vegan, but they still came out really good! I love almond butter alone out of a jar, so sweetening it up a little makes it that much better. I also popped them in the freezer for a harder bite and they were still great. Definitely give these babies a try :)

  1. Those look like raw chocolate chip cookie dough balls which whenever I see reminds me of you! mmm, delish!
