Mock Lobster, Brussel Sprouts, Baked Yam March 11, 2011

Filed under: Dinner — Maria @ 6:03 pm

Tonight I am home for dinner. My dad is making a meal I mentioned missing weeks ago. He made mock lobster which is made using frozen haddock bricks and boiling/broiling it and topped with paprika and a little butter. Then my mother also made brussel sprouts (because I never had them since she starting making them sometime in the last 6 years after I moved out) and a baked yam. It is sooooo good! Everything just tastes better when your parents make it right? It is soooo good to be home. I took an epic 2 hour nap earlier and have just been being lazy all afternoon. My grandparents might come visit tonight or I may run out and do some errands. I am making a cake for my grandpa’s 88th birthday (which is actually on St. Patrick’s Day!) so my plan is to find a delicious recipe tonight. Hopefully I can find something good.
