A Grad Student's Journey Toward Healthy Eating

Garden Salad with Tuna, Pear March 9, 2011

Filed under: Lunch — Maria @ 7:49 am

For lunch today I packed a garden salad made with spring mix, carrots, cukes, and celery, a huge packet of tuna to throw in it later, and a pear. It is somewhat annoying that you can’t eat meat on Ash Wednesday so this will have to do. I am not packing dressing since I’m assuming the house I babysit will have some, and I always like to try something new. I have literally no idea what I am going to have for dinner without meat. I’m hoping I am some type of lean cuisine that fits the bill otherwise I might be ordering pizza. I don’t think I have much time to cook anything between babysitting gigs and traffic but we shall see. Stay tuned!
