Green Monster Smoothie #1 June 24, 2010

Ok, well I was pretty excited about making a smoothie for lunch that I actually used too much of my ingredients and couldn’t fit the ice in my little blender, so I had to do half of it with ice and then pour it all together. Anyways, it definitely isn’t bad at all. I wish it was a tad bit sweeter or maybe had more ice, but I plan to try this out many different ways. So this is attempt at green smoothie #1. It consists of 1 cup of  Silk almond milk original, 1 tbsp of  flax seed, 2 large strawberries, 1/2 cup of Weight Watchers plain yogurt, 1/2 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of baby spinach, 2 packets of Stevia extract in the raw, and a handful of ice. It is perfect on such a hot day too! I am very happy with my new little blender as well — so far so good! So I am doing Quantitative Reasoning this afternoon since that is what my last class is in tonight. I’ll take math over chemistry any day ;)
