Tonight for dinner is almost the same as last night’s with broiled tilapia, steamed broccoli, and cooked squash. I feel like this is such a balanced meal. I snacked on a Super pretzel after school and I loved it. One of my best friends has been obsessed with them for as long as I remember but I never had them. Umm sooo good! I wanted to have two but I didn’t want to spoil my dinner. I will definitely buy them again, especially since now they are coming out with a cinnamon sugar variety that will probably be equally delicious. Today was a super long day with my (super hard) cardio exam and class until 4pm. I am not sure how I made it but I did. I decided I am doing absolutely nothing tonight. I love nights like this — especially because it is literally 75 degrees out right now, and it’s supposed to be 81 on Thursday! Off to enjoy my evening, hope you enjoy yours :D
Broiled Tilapia, Steamed Broccoli, Cooked Squash March 19, 2012
Ham Sandwich, Green Grapes, Strawberries, Carrots, Tomato Basil Hummus
Lunch today is a ham sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread with green grapes, strawberries, baby carrots, and TJ’s tomato basil hummus. I will barely have time to heat anything up for lunch so I had to go with the safe boring option, and of course I used up all my spinach yesterday morning. I think I need to start buying sliced cheese for my sandwiches, that would be yummy. So this week I tried a new flavor of hummus of Trader Joe’s. I don’t ever remember seeing it before so I don’t know if it’s new, but it’s definitely new to me. I tasted a bit on my figure when I was packing and wow it’s amazing. This might be my new favorite kind — this could be dangers. Hummus is such a great invention! Hopefully it will keep me going all afternoon. Since it is supposed to hit the 70′s today, I am planning to stop at DD for my iced coffee after class today as a pick me up so that will be nice. Alright, time to get moving. Enjoy!
Peach Greek Yogurt, High Fiber Cereal
This morning for breakfast I am having Voskos peach Greek yogurt and TJ’s high fiber cereal. This is my first time trying this brand of Greek yogurt and it’s really not bad. I think I am partial to Chobani, but it is nice to switch it up a bit and try some other brands, especially because sometimes they make different flavors. Well today I have a super long day. Test at 8am, then class 9am-4pm with only a half hour break for lunch blahhh. I have to figure out what I am going to pack as well since I don’t really want to bring a boring sandwich. Looks like I may not have a choice though so I didn’t plan ahead. I like to eat to school especially early on an exam day so I can review. I am pretty nervous about my cardio test today so I hope it ends up being fair. It’s always hit or miss in my program. I like to set up/format our power point’s in a word document ahead of time too and one of them isn’t up yet so that stinks. Alright, time to conquer lunch..
